Doors, sanitaryware, luminaires, ironmongery and joinery removed intact and released with dimensions and condition.
Cinder Loop surveys buildings before demolition, removes reusable components in sequence and gives every recovered lot enough evidence to be specified again.

About / what we keep
We survey structure, finishes, fixtures and services before strip-out so salvage decisions are made from condition, quantity and removal access rather than optimism.
Every released lot carries source location, dimensions, condition, photographs and known testing. A buyer should know more than “reclaimed”.
When direct reuse is impossible, material moves down a declared hierarchy: component reuse, remanufacture, recycling, then disposal as the last route.
Offerings / stock classes
Doors, sanitaryware, luminaires, ironmongery and joinery removed intact and released with dimensions and condition.
Steel sections, timber members and masonry assessed for removal method, storage, testing and future specification.
Stone, tiles, raised-floor systems and specialist panels packed by batch so visual and dimensional variation stays visible.
Material unsuitable for direct reuse but clean enough for controlled remanufacture or high-value recycling.
Process / deconstruction sequence
01
Map reusable assemblies before possession and flag testing or hazardous-material constraints.
02
Remove loose fixtures, fittings and finishes before heavy plant enters the working zone.
03
Sequence structural and heavy components around safe temporary works and realistic handling limits.
04
Clean, measure, photograph and assign a destination: reuse-in-place, release, remanufacture or recycle.
05
Issue a mass-balance report showing what left the site, where it went and what evidence follows each lot.
Projects / recovery file 18
A fictional 8,600 m² office retrofit was scheduled for conventional strip-out. We surveyed six weeks earlier, matched the raised floor to a nearby fit-out, retained hardwood doors for the new cores and released 41 tonnes of steel access flooring before possession.

Insights / material notes
Fire rating, dimensions, hardware preparation and leaf condition determine whether a reclaimed door can return to a regulated opening.
Material lifted carefully can still become waste if it is mixed, left wet, stacked without spacers or separated from its identification.
Crushing a usable component may improve a landfill-diversion percentage while destroying most of its embodied value. We report destinations separately.
Objections / field answers
Usually at the front of the programme, yes. We recover that time by surveying before possession, sequencing salvage alongside enabling works and pre-selling high-value lots before they ever reach the yard.
No. Recovery is selective. We reject contaminated, unsafe, untraceable or uneconomic material and document why. The aim is useful second life, not moving waste from one address to another.
Yes, when specification, testing and programme allow it. Reuse-in-place has the shortest logistics loop and is considered before resale or off-site processing.
Contact / conversion
Send the address, programme, existing drawings and likely demolition scope. We will return a survey plan and identify the decisions that need to happen before possession.
