Casa Lumera

A private collection of villas where architecture, light, and land are held in quiet balance.

PHILOSOPHY

We do not build villas.
We restore places to themselves.

Casa Lumera represents a small number of residences each year — properties chosen not for scale, but for the way they hold light, silence, and the rhythm of a particular coastline. Every home in our collection has been walked, measured, and lived in by our founders before it is offered to a single client.

What follows is not a listing. It is an invitation to imagine a slower kind of ownership.

WHERE WE ARE

A Constellation of Coastlines

Lake Como
Provence
Algarve
Santorini

Our residences sit along an arc from the Portuguese Atlantic to the Aegean, chosen for microclimates, cultural depth, and privacy from the nearest village square.

Every location undergoes a two-year observation period — seasons, light, and neighbours — before it is considered for the collection.

LIVING WELL

Amenities of Note

INFINITY POOLS

Cantilevered edge, heated year-round

Sunlit interior courtyard with pastel walls and linen furnishings

LIFESTYLE

Mornings Measured in Shade and Sun

Each residence is furnished to be lived in immediately — linen, stone, reclaimed timber — but never staged. Owners are encouraged to add, not replace: a rug from Fez, ceramics from the local potter down the hill.

The result is a house that feels inherited rather than purchased.

FROM OUR OWNERS

“Casa Lumera did not simply find us a villa — they found us a way of living we didn't know we were missing.”

E. Whitfield — Owner, Villa Aurea
